A review of vocational education was carried out by Willy Roe, chairman of Highlands and Island Enterprise and commissioner on the UK Commission for Employment and Skills. The report provides a number of specific recommendations aimed at improving education and training for the workplace, providing better value for money and improving support for unemployed young people.
